If you've been watching ESPN you've surely seen the scrolling bottom line message that 86 players were named in the Mitchell Report.

Of the 64 players that we named we were correct on only eight. About 10-12 players on the list were already implicated. We skipped those gimmes so cut us a break.

Our biggest failure was not naming more of the scrubs on the Mets and Yankees including Rondell White, Matt Franco, Chuck Knoblauch, David Justice, Denny Neagle, Ron Villone, Todd Pratt, Paul La Duca, and Kevin Brown.

All those guys had such a hard time in NY they probably would have been better off eating prozac and ambiens.

Brian Roberts was kind of an obvious one that we forgot. Lot of shitty Orioles on the list as well.

Hurts to see Pettitte front and center. As one of the guys who used to work in Carlsbad said this morning to me on IM..."you gotta figure that Pettitte had to get some testosterone from sucking on Clemens ---- for all these years"

If Hal Morris didn't take steroids he might have been the lightest hitting first baseman of all-time.

After Tajada was traded yesterday i would have bet my all my pet fish that he would be on the list.

I sent my dad a note about the contest this morning and he replied back with Pettitte, Clemens, Knoblauch, any one of the Met's shitty third baseman between HoJo and Wright (Matt Franco) and Knoblauch. Looks like he would have won. He also threw in that Pavano should have taken Steroids and that he hopes Mike and The Mad Dog show up on the list because they both have "steroids of the mouth".
