YO BRO IT’S ME LITTY

Last week I launched a basketball contest on Sportsvite called “Play With The Pros”. The contest allows basketball players to submit their own highlight videos. A panel of expert judges along with the entire sportsvite community determines the best player. That player will receive a private tryout with an ABA team and is guaranteed to play in at least one game with the team as the 13th man.

I was pumped for this contest. It takes a lot to pull something like this off but our team did a great job coordinating all the moving parts and the ABA has been a perfect partner. We need to ramp up on entries and the contest hasn’t received the press coverage I was hoping for but we’ll go back to the drawing board and figure out how to maximize results on both counts.

My mom couldn’t be any prouder (that’s one of many reasons why Mom’s are great).My little sister gave me a hard time for repeating um….ummm…ummm throughout the conversation. Personally, I think I sound like a weirdo. This was definitely not a Mike and the Mad Dog worthy performance. Perhaps I have a new found respect for those bozos.
